What is the 7th passage (7/12)?
Satbara is an agricultural land document that contains all of the land’s details such as the land owner’s name, total area, type, survey/group number, burden, and other information. 7/12 extract document is useful when demonstrating land ownership rights or conducting land transactions.
What exactly is a property card?
Because agricultural land is no longer available in cities due to urbanisation and other factors, the Maharashtra state land record department has decided to discontinue the 7/12 passage in cities where city surveys have been completed, and the Mahabhulekh Property Card will be used instead.

What Is The Difference Between Variation And Variation Notice?
When land is bought and sold, for example, the old owner’s name is removed from the 7/12 extract and the new owner’s name is inserted in its place.
When Talathi receives an application for variation, such as variation in 7/12, it issues a Notice of Variation. The application and documents are then reviewed by Talathi, who issues a change notice. This notice is only available for a limited time. If anyone has an objection to the modification, he must raise it before the notice period expires. If no objections are raised, Talathi will proceed with the modification process after the period has expired.
Mahabhulekh: How do I view the change notice and status?
