The Telangana government’s Department of School Education has issued the latest admission Notification TS DEECET (Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test) for admissions into Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and Diploma in Pre-School Education (D.P.S.E) programs in the state. TS DEECET Application Form
The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, will publish the TS DEECET 2024 announcement in August 2024, approximately. Applicants must pass the TS DEECET test to be admitted to a two-year diploma program in elementary education at a government district institution of educational training (DIET) or a private elementary teacher training institution in Telangana. Below is information regarding Eligibility, Application Fee, Important Dates, Exam Syllabus and Pattern.
Age Restrictions:
- Applicants must be 17 years old as of September 1st of the year of Telangana State DEECET Admission.
- There will be no maximum age for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education Program.
TS DEECET Exam Pattern:
- Language: The question paper will be written in Telugu/English, Urdu/English, and Tamil/English alone.
- Exam Mode: Computer-Based Exam (CBT)
- Multiple Choice Questions (McQ) are used in the exam.
- Marking Pattern: Each question contains four alternatives, one of which is accurate. Candidates will receive one point for each right answer. Unanswered questions or multiple responses will earn zero points. According to the TS DEECET 2024, there are no bad marks.

How to Apply Online for the TS DEECET
Candidates must first obtain a free copy of the ‘Information Bulletin’ from the website http://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in, read it attentively, and ensure their eligibility to appear in DEECET, 2024.
- Go to the official website, www.tsdeecet.cgg.gove.in.
- Pay the application cost via TS Online/Credit/debit card/netbanking.
- The applicant must then record the journal number that is created.
- Fill out the application form with the candidate’s personal information such as email address, mobile phone number, and so on.
- Upload a scanned color photo (30kb – 20kb) and a signature (30kb – 15kb) in JPEG format.
- Make a copy of the Application for future reference.
